Thank you for your comment EC. It has actually made me feel much better. I sort of hated to admit that my cat jumps on my counters. We have tried to train him, but nothing phases him. He jumps down when I scold him, and I do make sure he is not in the kitchen when I am cooking. It is just the best that I can do. "A cat goes where a cat wants to go.” Definitely!
Believe it or not I am terrified of cats! I can take dogs I love them (as long as they aren't black dogs that is!) We've had a really good around here this week hope yours is the same!
So glad to hear your weekend was good. I know that a lot of people don't like cats, and almost all our friends are terrified of ours! He can be quite fierce (although his growl is the worst part of his greetings), - but loves the four of us! We usually lock him downstairs when we have company!
My cat is very vocal. I could swear sometimes he is dictating a post - if only I could translate those meows! Glad you like the blog changes - and it sounds like you had a good weekend as well.
I hope you did have a happy weekend....mine was a bit "iffy", but I shan't go into details. It's all over now.
My two furry rascals very often take over my desk and sit up close and personal to my keyboard...it becomes very difficult to type at times. But I have little say in the matter...after all this is THEIR home...not mine. I'm just the lowly lodger! :)
I've just read Rena's comment...and my mouth fell open. Rena! How can you be terrified of cats? How strange! We're going to have to cure you of your malady! :)
I think perhaps Rena has not met the right cats. I am quite sure mine could induce such terror in people who never liked felines previously. Meeting my cat would do nothing to cure Rena of her "malady!”

ReplyDeleteAnd a happy weekend to you too.

ReplyDeleteMy response is late - but I hope yours was as well, and that your next weekend will be happy too, Carlee!

Sorry to hear about your "iffy" weekend Lee - I hope the week has gotten much better! Yes - I think cats do consider us the "renters!!”
