My friend Lana, who blogs over at Two Teens and Their Mama, is one of the hosts for the Lifestyle Sistas weekly link-up series. This week, the topic is “5 Places I Want to See Before I Die.”
Lana published a fun and informative post yesterday about some exciting spots she would like to visit. Click here to read her post and others on this topic, and learn more about the link-up.
Five Places on My Bucket List
So - Which five places would I want to go? Hmmmm.
I have traveled a lot of the globe, but there are so many places I would still like to see - or return to for another visit. My list can grow quite long, but here is what first came to my mind, as I thought about this today.
I remember studying Argentina in ninth grade and thinking it was a place I would really enjoy. I have not yet been there - but I still hope to. It seems like it might have a lot of similarities to Montana - perhaps that is why I think I would like it so much!
Oh - how I would love to see all the animal species that live on these volcanic islands!
3. Australia.
Kangaroos and koala bears. Just seeing them in their native habitat would be worth the trip! I would want to hop over to New Zealand, as well. (I just cheated and added an extra place to my list of five, but I think it sounds so beautiful, I just had to include New Zealand as well!)
4. Nepal and Tibet.
I have no interest in climbing to the summit of Everest, but I would enjoy the scenery, meeting the people, and learning more about the culture of this region.
5. The Seychelles.
These beautiful islands in the Indian Ocean are my idea of paradise. Beautiful beaches, warm waters to swim in, giant tortoises and inland jungle. I have never been to this chain of islands, but I am pretty sure it is a place where I could really relax! But Lana mentioned Bora Bora - I could just as easily be happy there!
There are beautiful beaches all over the world. This is one I visited in Jamaica. |
How about you? What 5 places are on your bucket list?

I love all your choices. I had such a hard time picking my top 5. I have traveled quite a bit in Canada and the US, but nowhere else (sadly), so I have a lot of catching up to do! Thank you for showcasing the link up and my blog today. Have a great weekend!

ReplyDeleteI would love to go back to Antarctica. And see polar bears in their natural habitat. China to see the terracotta warriors. Old Japan...
Now I am having jealous thoughts! How long were you in Nepal?
DeleteYou mentioned really an amazing tourism destination. I have decided to go Australia after my bus philadelphia nyc with my friends. We decided to visit there Kakadu National Park,Great Barrier Reef,Uluru,Old Melbourne Gaol and Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. Anyone want to give suggestion about my next trip?
ReplyDeleteSounds wonderful!
DeleteOkay you guess are making my cross country trip seem pretty boring! haha! I want to go overseas so bad and I will someday. When I don't know but I really want to go to Ireland first. This is my families homeland and my husband's. He is about as Irish as they come. You've seen my last name, his first is Patrick and he is even born on St. Patrick's Day! So there first then I just don't want to stop, London next and then the Eiffel Tower because it's always been my dream to see that. I have a whole board on Pinterest just with the Eiffel tower on it. Sad but true. I have to get my husband over the fear of flying first. Missing planes and such are just not helping my case at all! If he can drive it then I can see it.....for now!
ReplyDeleteYour cross country trip sounds perfect - and as I said before in a comment on your blog, the best part is the months of anticipation. Sounds like you are destined to get to Great Britain. Go by ship??!
