Funny must be a mom thing, that's the first thing I thought of! We are avid canoers and as adults we tend not to wear our life jackets (When mom goes I have her wear one) but my children weren't ever allowed on the boat without them!
Maybe you should rethink the adults not wearing life jackets....if the unthinkable happened and your children survived because they had flotation devices and you did not survive for the opposite reason....
They do look like they are having a heap of fun. And it would have to be an old photo here. Life-jackets are compulsory, which is not a bad thing. Have a wonderful weekend.
so true - be safe to you as well- like I said it before if you can look at a scene and know all the possibilities of what the next step can be chances are it will happen nothing wrong by saying something like be careful!

ReplyDeleteThat was exactly the response I got from my dad when he saw this post! Even someone able to swim should wear a flotation device in a lifeboat though.
