The 2014 Ultimate BLOG PARTY is This Week. I'm Going - Are You?

My blog is three weeks old today!  To celebrate, my blog and I are going to a party!

The 2014 Ultimate BLOG PARTY is a virtual party for bloggers, hosted by the blog “5 Minutes for Mom.”

 This "party" helps people advertise their blogs, introduces new blogs, gives bloggers an opportunity to interact, and is a way to find interesting new blogs to read.  Sounds perfect for me!

 Each party guest is asked to write an introductory post, explaining a little bit about themselves and their blog.  So, here's mine - and welcome to my blog!

 Hi!  I'm Susan. 
My blog at www.ofeverymoment.com is called “the most -- of every moment.”  This blog is a combination of my interests, and it is all about ways to make the most of every moment of our lives.  

This is me :)


I was born in Canada, and I have an identical twin and two younger sisters.  I have traveled extensively, lived and worked overseas, and resided in several different time zones in the United States.
I think I am the twin on the far left!

Before becoming a stay-at-home mom, I obtained a B.S. degree in Nursing.  I have worked as both a registered nurse and health educator in a variety of settings (three hospitals, a school and a ship that sailed around the world).

After living in many places, I happily settled with my husband, our two kids, and our pets in our northern corner of the United States.


















Some of the things I enjoy include being a mom, health and wellness, crafts, cooking and baking, reading and writing (and blogging!), horseback riding, gardening, travel, and family time.



Freelance writing has been a fun way to “make the most of many moments.”  I surprised even myself when I started this blog.  Somehow my interest in freelance writing led to getting published on-line, and things have just snowballed from there!  

Blogging is every bit as fun as I suspected.  I love how it gives me a chance to read, write, and be creative.  I hope to inform and inspire, not only myself but my readers as well.

      Thanks Vi. I just took a peek at your blog - “She Reads, until the lights have long since gone out” - and I love the title. My grandfather used to tell me I would ruin my eyesight because I would read in the dark after bedtime. Good luck with freelancing!

    UPB14 has been a learning experience for me already. I just realized that when I post a reply to a comment, I should be doing so as a "reply" - not as a new comment! Not sure if I should have, but I just deleted all my reply comments and reposted them the right way! Live and Learn!
